Vacancy Description

West Berkshire Council are looking for a HR Coordinator to join our newly re-structured HR team to cover maternity leave. Working in a friendly team of two HR Coordinators and an Administrator where no two days are the same, you will provide outstanding HR support to ensure the smooth operation of the HR service to corporate managers.

**The Role**
- Responsible for processing and maintaining the records relating to new starters, variations to existing contracts and changes to the organisational establishment using the HR information system for corporate employees.
- Undertake duties supporting the use of the HR Information System and other databases to administer roles and responsibilities and ensure employee records are maintained.
- Ensuring the onboarding and offboarding process is administered accurately and effectively to meet customer needs, and to ensure accuracy of data provided to payroll.
- The ability to build relationships across the Council, and with HR colleagues.
- Able to work in a self-sufficient manner, managing your own workload, flexible and willing to take on new challenges.
- You will have experience of providing administration support in a customer focused setting (HR experience would be an advantage).

This role is fixed term for 9 months from start date providing Maternity cover
