Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team in achieving sales targets and goals - this will include making sure the showroom is presentable and stocked with brochures.
- Provide support to sales representatives and managers in day-to-day tasks
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide product information
- Record customer data and interest to pass over to sales staff
- Assist in loading and unloading deliveries from suppliers and customers
- Assist staff in preparing items for sale including cleaning and photographing products
- Handling telephone calls and queries in our office
This is a new position supporting our sales team and suggested days of work are Thursday / Friday and Saturday. Saturday availability is a must. Hours of work are to be 5 hours per working day within 9-5pm but suggested shifts would be 10-3pm to help fit the peaks of demand in the business.
**Requirements**:
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred
- Ability to sell products effectively and meet sales targets
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
- Upselling skills to maximize revenue opportunities
- Basic math skills for processing orders and calculating discounts or commissions
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
