**Pay rate**:£12.00 - £14.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

**Working hours**:8:30am - 3:30pm (Term time only)

Active Recruitment are working closely with a very reputable mainstream Secondary School in Newham, East London, who are looking for a Children's Support Worker to provide specialist 1:1 support to children aged 11 - 16 years old with moderate to severe learning difficulties. In this role, you will be working in a specialist provision within a mainstream school with the goal of helping these young students with complex social, emotional & behaviour needs receive the best standard of education possible.

**The successful Childrens Support Worker must**:

- Have recent experience within a similar role.
- Be passionate about working with SEN pupils
- Be able to modify approach depending on pupils individual needs
- Be able to inspire and motive those that need additional support
- Be passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people

**Key responsibilities for your role**:

- Working with specific children from age 11-16 that require targeted support.
- Working alongside other professionals to assess children including writing EHCPs
- Working with other teaching staff to design the best strategies to meet a pupil’s needs.
