**Job Purpose**
The postholder will be responsible for the support to the Body Donation Programme and will deliver a proactive, efficient and flexible range administrative activities within the Anatomy Facility.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**-2. To actively ensure that all documentation and records related to the Body Donation are accurately recorded and maintained at all times and meet the requirements of GDPR regulations and other relevant protocols. This includes an understanding of GDPR and the ability to ensure the records are GDPR compliant.
3. Responsible for the coordination and organisation of the Annual Inspection by His Majesty’s Inspector of Anatomy and the Anatomy Memorial Service.
4. Working closely with the Scottish Bequest Co-ordinators Group to proactively engage and contribute to the development of delivering good practice and act upon nationally agreed updated procedures as and when required.
5. To co-ordinate and actively promote all publicity material for the Body Donation Programme, both paper and electronic, ensuring these are made available as widely as possible and the Body Donation programme is publicised and promoted through all appropriate routes and platforms.
6. Membership of committees relevant to the successful operation of The Anatomy Facility (e.g. Joint Management Committee, education strategy meetings)
7. To provide proactive administrative support for the Anatomy Facility including operational budgetary and HR support, taking minutes at meetings, diary management for the Head of the Anatomy Facility as required.
8. To contribute and work collegiately as part of the Anatomy Administrative Team ensuring that knowledge and skills are shared within the Team and appropriate cover arrangements can be provided for all business-critical activities.
9. Any other duties that fall within the areas of the post as allocated by the line manager following consultation with the post holder.

**Qualifications**

**Essential**
A1 Ability to demonstrate the competencies required to undertake the duties associated with this level of post having acquired the necessary knowledge and skills in a similar role.
- Or_
Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework level 7 (Advanced Higher / Scottish Vocational Qualification level 3, Higher National Certificate) or equivalent, and experience of personal development in a similar role.

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**

**Essential**
C1 Excellent verbal communication and people skills (tact, diplomacy, discretion, and ability to handle confidential and sympathetic customers etc.)
C2 Proven initiative and judgement to multi-task, resolve problems independently and provide accuracy and attention to detail.
C3 Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise own workload and meet tight deadlines
C4 Effective IT and numeracy skills
C5 Proven ability to acquire detailed knowledge of and to utilise relevant IT systems as well as understanding protocols and procedures
C6 Ability to function well in a multi-disciplinary team as well as the ability to work independently.
C7 Well-developed analytical skills and capacity for problem-solving.
C8 Understanding of GDPR

E1 Experience of note taking
E2 Experience and understanding of budget management.

**Terms and Conditions**
Salary will be Grade 5, £24,715 - £28,929 per annum.
This post is full time and open ended.
