Responsibilities:

- Manage a portfolio of limited company clients, processing all bookkeeping through Quickbooks or Sage software including preparation and submission of VAT returns.
- Carry out monthly bank reconciliations and customer/supplier account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare and process expense reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
