**About the role***:
Our business** Ecclesiastical Financial Advisory Services **have a fantastic opportunity for a **Marketing Specialist** to join our **Gloucester** based team.

As **Marketing Specialist**, you will develop and enhance EFAS affinity relationships with core customers and develop/deliver a range of marketing materials and campaigns to meet business requirements and objectives.

**Key responsibilities**
***:

- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote and develop mutually beneficial relationships
- Produce compelling campaigns & collateral (including digital) both individually and in conjunction with other specialists within EFAS, third party affinity organisations and group marketing on time and to budget
- Preparation of an EFAS marketing plan, all required briefs and specific campaign plans as required with internal & external stakeholders
- Briefing of and liaison with internal specialists
- Manage external suppliers including on-boarding, raising POs, and ensuring value is delivered against the brief
- Ensure all marketing and processes meet brand guidelines and are technically correct and compliant
- Be responsible for developing and monitoring individual campaign budgets
- Provide progress updates to the agreed stakeholders in the agreed format
- Produce ROMI analysis and evaluation, including recommendations
- Understand our competitive positioning including key messages of our products and services, and how we compare with competitors

**Knowledge, skills and experience**
***:

- Degree and/or Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing or other suitable degree level marketing qualification
- Previous experience and proven track record in marketing strategy, brand, communications and print/literature management
- Experience of marketing projects and communications programmes in an FCA-regulated industry including operating and approving content in line with the FCA compliance process. (Preferably financial advice focussed e.g. either independent or restricted advice firm)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including grammatical accuracy and ability to adapt written approach to the format, including copy-writing, proofreading and editing skills
- Experience of preparing persuasive presentations and proposals is expected
- Experience of customer insight and customer segmentation programmes
- Proven planning, project management and prioritisation skills, with ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building experience. Strong influencing skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to adapt approach to suit requirements
- Supplier and process management experience
- A deep knowledge of the full range of marketing tools and brand strategies available and the ability to manage and inspire a team to develop and deliver strong and truly integrated campaigns that boost brand awareness and strengthen our competitive edge, achieving ROI where appropriate
- A good understanding of developing content strategies and how these support a strategic marketing plan
- Accomplished in proactive stakeholder management and relationship building at all levels.
- A real team player, willing and able to support colleagues, achieve greater collective wisdom in the team with a ‘can do’ attitude
- A deep knowledge of the full range marketing tools available and the ability to develop and deliver create truly integrated campaigns
- Ability to write strong creative briefs which give colleagues and external agencies a deep understanding of the project and the messaging
- Ability to work with agencies to deliver outstanding creativity
- A good understanding of developing content strategies and how these support a strategic marketing plan
- Able to adjust priorities according to business needs
