**Description**:
We are recruiting for Leaving Care/Supported Accommodation Support Workers to be hands on and support the Young People ages 16 - 18 years with a wide range of needs. This is mainly covering the Southport area.
Your role would be to supporting, empowering, and guiding the young people to develop their life skills to enable them to live independently.
This can include developing life skills for example, meal preparation, house cleaning, washing, what to do in emergency situations, and financial planning. You will be a passionate and resilient individual who is calm under pressure, computer literate, adaptable and motivating.
You must hold a full UK driving license and ideally a Level 3 NVQ Children and Young People Workforce, or equivalent. The role is a full-time, permanent position with a salary on offer of £21,840 at £10 per hour. The shift pattern is 1 on 3 off including x7 24 hour shifts per month. You will be expected to travel on-call to different homes 2 times per month.
