- Role Profile - Homeowner Officer.docx- We are currently looking to recruit a Homeownership Officer to cover a Maternity Leave within the Resales team. The role sits within the Homeownership Team, who are responsible for assisting homeowners to sell their homes from pre-sale to reservation, to ensuring sales are progressed in line with current targets whilst communicating with our customers every step of the way, providing information to solicitors for prospective purchasers; helping residents purchase further shares through the process called ‘staircasing’and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to help achieve targets.- To succeed in this role, you must be customer focused, have a positive attitude, be an excellent communicator and be able to multitask. You need to have the ability to work on your own initiatives and meet deadlines, you will also need experience gained from a housing or legal background. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail is also essential in this role.- You will have a varied workload which will require you to have a good working knowledge of Homeownership products such as d Ownership Applications and Resales. The role will require you to prepare written documentation to be sent to our customers, so experience of letter/report writing is essential.- As you will be dealing with customers, solicitors, mortgage lenders, surveyors, financial advisors and other internal departments it is desirable to have experience in property conveyancing processes and have knowledge of leasehold/shared ownership products.
