**Main Duties**

Duties for this role include:

- To assist in providing support for all IT Services, software and mobile devices throughout the Trust including installation of PC hardware, software and peripheral devices.
- Investigate routine enquiries, queries from staff providing assistance & advice as required.
- To order, install, and configure new IT equipment and services.
- To manage and maintain documentation as appropriate to the role.
- To ensure new equipment and services are installed and configured in a timely manner and in line with Trust standards and service levels.
- To troubleshoot and resolve basic Service Desk support calls in a timely manner and in line with Trust standards and service levels.
- To work within the Trust IM&T Security Policy at all times and ensure all systems supported comply with this.
- To undergo staff training and developing as required and attend all team and departmental meetings.
- To update systems as appropriate to track the lifetime of IT assets within the Trust.

**What Apprenticeship Training will you Receive?**

The successful applicant will complete and obtain a Level 3 Digital Support Technician Qualification through Learning Curve Group.

You will be taught through:

- 4-6 Weekly 1-2-1 Sessions with your tutor
- 6 weekly hours of Off The Job Training
- The course is a 15 month long programme

**Requirements**:
**Desired Skills and Qualities**

**Essential**
- 5 A-C GCSE qualifications, including Mathematics and English
- A working knowledge of Windows-based operating systems, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office suites.
- Ability to respond positively to supervisor feedback
- Willingness to learn and progress

**Desirable**
- Demonstrable knowledge of some IT Disciplines such as End User Equipment configuration, Customer Service Management, Coding/Development, Application configuration and use.
- Good time management skills
- Good communications skills
- Good team working skills
- Planning and organisational skills
- Analytical skills

- Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
- Generous annual leave entitlement
