Canny Clever IT is an award-winning company that offers support services to clients, those consumers who need help with phones, tablets, laptops and computers. This is in addition to the supply of new, quality refurbished computers, laptops and gaming systems, accessories, a full diagnostics together with a repair offering.

As an IT apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, being an integral part of the team, be responsible for handling customer issues on the shop floor, working on the helpdesk using a ticketing system, troubleshooting customer issues, upgrading hardware and software plus so much more to enhance your skills to become a full time IT Support Technician

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communication technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

**A Typical Day in the Job**:

- Split between: On the shop floor repairs handling customer issues with hardware, laptops, computers, printers & half of time upstairs on the help desk for repeat customers / businesses.
- Troubleshooting issues and looking for route cause analysis using troubleshooting components and troubleshooting diagnostic system which is UVK and AntiVirus
- Dealing with end user devices, building upgrading and configuring hardware. components such as graphics card, motherboard, RAM, Servers.
- Software upgrades and installs.
- Working on networking devices on help desk - monitoring networks, troubleshooting issues, any wifi connection issues or networking updates needed to boost connectivity.
- Going out on site if needed to help with client issues in business, dealing with servers and connections wired and wireless.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

**Salary, Hours** **&** **Benefits**:

- Salary - £15,600
- Monday - Friday 9:30 - 4:30
- 28 Days Annual Leave including Bank Holidays
- Company Pension Scheme (if you pay a minimum 5% and we will pay in an additional 3%)

- Grade 4/C in Math’s & English or Functional Skills Level 2
