**We are looking for experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our growing team to be based in Sunbury** (Requirement to work in the office and visit client sites and other IVDC offices across the UK on a regular basis)

As a business we promote the first time fix, we want to provide a quality service to our customers to get the job done right first time. We pride ourselves on the reputation and relationships we have built with our customers.

The role will report directly to the company Directors, but will also work closely with the HR, Compliance Manager and other Supervisors to ensure cohesion and cooperation between the departments.

**Job Summary**

Be the go to person for health and safety queries. This is a diverse role, where the successful applicant will be responding to day to day challenges as they arise, as well as ensuring compliance in all areas. We are aiming to gain ISO accreditations, and are looking for someone to help us achieve this next step.

**Principle Responsibilities/Duties**
- Respond to Health and Safety queries and events as they occur
- Work together with all departments to ensure working practices are safe and compliant
- Investigate and report on all Health and Safety incidents
- Collaborate with 3rd parties in relation to Health and Safety, including attending meetings
- Carry out site inspections and audits
- Lead regular Health and Safety training and toolbox talks
- Assist in achieving new accreditations
- Review Health and Safety policies, update and implement changes as required
- Review risk and method statements, update and implement changes as required
- Take an active part in Health and Safety management meetings
- Be responsible for completing client questionnaires and audits
- Be responsible for ensuring accreditations with health and safety bodies are renewed in a timely manner

**Experience, Knowledge & Capabilities**
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Proactive and flexible attitude
- Strong IT Skills
- Full UK driving license
- Able to build and maintain relationships with a variety of people from all levels of the business internally and with external contacts;
- Attention to detail.

**Travel**
- Regular site visits will be required as applicable to carry out the responsibilities and support required. To include all company offices and client sites as required.

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
