**Job Title: Senior Care Supervisor**
**Location: Bromley**
**Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 - dependant on experience**
We are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Care Supervisor who will be responsible for providing support to all care staff within a defined area and delivering a premium service to customers. This is a growing business with a great opportunity for somebody who is passionate about care and who wishes to progress with a genuinely caring company.
As Care Supervisor you will be the main link between the office and customers/Carers. The most important responsibilities include ensuring that customers are receiving the care and support they expect and deserve, ensuring that Care staff are carrying out their duties to the highest standard and working closely with the office-based team.
Within this role your time will be split between the office completing necessary administrative duties and working closely with the Registered Manager and Care Coordinator and also being out in the field with Clients and care staff.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Arranging initial visits to, and the assessment of, prospective customers (and/or their chosen representatives) to assess their needs and what they would like to achieve from their care and support.
- Conduct Risk Assessments and complete regular reviews and updates.
- Create and agree written individually tailored care plans. Agree appropriate risk control measures to reduce identified risks. Keep care and support plans up to date.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all documentation held in the customer’s home.
- Carry caseload responsibility for clients and ensure a proactive approach to care is carried out with urgency and a problem solving approach.
- Liaise closely with the Care Coordinator regarding recruitment and matching of care staff to the customers.
- Carry out introductory visits to introduce care staff and report changes to care schedules to the coordinator, customer, and carer.
- Support, supervise and assist with training of care staff.
- Investigate matters relating to the quality of the service and implement improvements.
- Manage complaints an incidents and initiate improvements where necessary.
- Monitor the performance of Care staff and carry out quality reviews at the customer’s home to make sure the service is being delivered in line with company procedures.
- Proactively identify own development areas and build relationships with external providers and networks.
- Work flexibly to meet business needs.
- Take part in the out of hours emergency on-call rota as and when required.
**Personal Specification**
- Extensive care experience with a proven track record in providing consistent excellent customer service.
- Experience in leading, training and managing a care team.
- Have or be willing to work towards Level 3 Diploma in Leaderships for Health and Social Care
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of compliance and CQC regulations.
- Strong skills in conducting care assessments and care planning.
- Drive and motivation to take on a broad role and develop care services.
