Skilltech Resourcing are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant for their manufacturing client on the Widnes area.

As an Accounts Assistant you will be working with the Senior financial controller to support in all areas of accounts which will include:

- Process purchase invoices and filing with a paperless system on the directory.
- Resolve sales/ purchase invoices queries with customer /suppliers and internal staff.
- Check POD’s to attain approval for payment of supplier invoices
- Reconcile supplier statements from suppliers requesting copy invoices if needed.
- Conduct daily bank reconciliations.
- Generate daily, weekly, monthly banking reports.

We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:

- AAT qualified with previous experience in **manufacturing accounts**.
- Good all round accounting knowledge with experience in credit control, purchase ledger and sales ledger
- Experience using Sage 50 Accounts including entering nominal codes to enter purchase invoices
- Experience using database systems to enter invoices with purchase orders.

This is a permanent full-time position working a 38.5 hour week.

Salary £25,000 - £26,000 depending on experience.
