As the Communications and Marketing Lead (maternity cover), you will be part of the Digital, Data and Design team, working closely with our Content Officer as well as colleagues across the organisation, including the senior management team.

You will lead on making sure all our communications and marketing activities are effective, impactful and engaging. You will also manage our social media channels and pay-per-click advertising, as well as managing our work with press and media. You will be instrumental in help us make sure we achieve our strategic communications objectives, including consolidating awareness of our brand.

In return, we will provide fully hybrid, flexible working with an amazing team of women working to make real change. All RCEW employees have in-work time for wellbeing activities, and we are committed to your ongoing learning and development.

This is a fixed term maternity cover post until September 2024. You need to be available to start work in September 2023.

We require the post holder to be female - Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR), Schedule 9 (Work; Exceptions), Part 1 (Occupational Requirements), of the Equality Act (2010) applies. RCEW and local Rape Crisis Centres provide a women-only safe space in which women and children who have experienced sexual violence and abuse are supported and can access services.
