**Our Client**

Our financial services wealth management client is a leading financial wellbeing and retirement specialist. They work with hundreds of organisations across both the private and public sector by offering financial education, guidance and regulated financialadvice.

**The Role**

They require a National Business Development Manager who will be responsible for delivering new profitable corporate clients to the business to achieve income targets within the financial wellbeing space.

**Responsibilities**
- Deliver new business sales target as defined by Head of New Business (HNB)
- Develop and manage the new business contact plan to support the delivery of sales targets activities to include. Pipeline development Gap Analysis, Activity planning & management, Manage the follow up of all new business leads.
- Develop a full understanding of our clients business model to support engaging discussions with prospects and new clients
- Research and seek networking events to explore potential new business opportunities
- Research and draft client business proposals following meetings
- Needs to be a business developer, a "hunter" (so to speak) that has experience of selling direct to employers themselves (rather than through an EBC relationship for example), finding opportunities themselves, managing and running their own pipeline withlarge corporates). Ideally they will have the relationships at a high level with the large corporates we are targeting eg (the FTSE 100 and 350)"
- Demonstrate confidence when engaging potential clients.
- Financial Services qualifications would be a desirable - Pension income options (JO5) or Pensions and retirement planning (RO4) (or is willing to work towards).
