We are looking for an experienced and motivated Bid Assistant with a minimum of 6 months experience in bid writing and experience of working in a busy office environment. You will be responsible for supporting the team with writing and submitting bids to clients, helping to develop and maintain strong customer relationships and ensuring that all submissions are completed to the highest standard.
If successful, the role of Bid Assistant will involve:
- Writing and submitting high-quality bids to clients
- Developing and maintaining quality marketing materials for the team
- Ensuring that all bids are completed to the highest standard
- Researching and analysing customer requirements
- Liaising with colleagues and managing internal stakeholders throughout the other departments to ensure bids are submitted on time
- Keeping track of progress and providing regular updates to management
- 6 months' experience in bid writing
- Experience of working in a busy office environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks
- A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of database software (desirable)
