**Job Description**:
Skipton Building Society has an exciting opportunity in our Reward and Governance Team. Working with a small team of Reward professionals the successful applicant will join us as a Reward Lead and will enjoy a busy and varied role providing first class service across all aspects of reward.
Main Responsibilities
The role is a varied one that covers a wide range of reward goals. As part of the wider team of professional Reward Leads the role holder will work collaboratively with the other Leads and is responsible for a range of accountabilities including:
- Supporting the development and delivery of the Society’s Total Reward and Recognition Strategy adding value at all stages through research, design, delivery and governance of our total reward frameworks.
- Creating opportunities to build greater awareness across the Society in relation to the Total Reward offering.
- Partnering with the People Business Partners and their Senior Leader stakeholders to deliver their people agenda with a specific focus on how Reward & Governance can add value.
- Monitoring and reviewing the ongoing performance of reward policies/procedures and processes in the Society and strive for continuous improvement.
- Making use of available reward and benefit data to provide insights into the effectiveness of our Reward strategies both in design and implementation for the Society, Leaders and our broader colleagues.
- Build and maintain operational and process excellence mechanisms for all rewards programs.
Equally important is the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and to interpret and communicate complex / sensitive data in a variety of circumstances.
A flexible attitude to work would be expected and reciprocated as the workloads can fluctuate throughout the year and all Reward Leads are expected work across the different specialisms supporting each other to ensure that everyone can contribute and support the key elements of our Reward agenda.
