Role Overview**:
As the Pharmacovigilance Partnerships Associate within the UK Affiliate for AbbVie, responsible contact for Business Units (Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Engagement, Legal department) in initiating, organizing and managing Organized Data Collection (ODC) projects.

Support the UK Pharmacovigilance Team on the coordination and execution of all aspects of the PV system to ensure that all of AbbVie’s statutory and ethical responsibilities are met.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**PV Agreements and Contracts**
- Co-ordination, development and maintenance of PV-related agreements and contracts with partner companies/vendors, working with PPS to ensure conformance to global standards
- Maintains the inventory of PV related agreements and contracts for the UK

**Organized Data Collection (ODC) activities**
- Contributes to the design of ODC programs from a PV and patient safety perspective
- Provides PV support in launch excellence, AbbVie Care implementation
- Maintains up-to-date information on ODC programs in the global PV Inventory
- Ensures that all new or significantly changed ODC Programs are assessed for impact to adverse event generation and that PV obligations are in place and managed effectively throughout the program, including vendor selection, management & oversight
- Collaborates with the PV Compliance and Training Manager and/or Specialist to ensure Pharmacovigilance training is provided to the Service Provider employees assigned to the project
- Monitors and ensures the compliance of Service Providers concerning Pharmacovigilance tasks (e.g. AE reporting compliance, reconciliation, program close out etc.)
- Ensures validation of all ODC materials prior to start of the program as applicable
- Ensures compliance with global Pharmacovigilance agreements and their local implementation and tracking
- Provides/inputs into monthly PV System Oversight Metrics Report and is responsible for updating UK PV Dashboard for affiliate partner compliance monitoring
- Ensures that proposed audits of ODC Program service providers/vendors and outcomes of these audits are communicated to internal stakeholders as appropriate

**Qualifications**
- Degree in life sciences (medicine, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, (human) biology etc.) or relevant industry experience
- Pharmacovigilance experience required
- Ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Good communicator and stakeholder management
- Team-oriented. Ability to deal with conflicting interests within a multi-functional team and the skills to bring these interests together towards a common goal; ability to manage and work closely within a team in a matrix organization
- Ability to prioritize, strong planning and excellent organizational skills and the ability to get things done
