Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor

Summary

Fantastic contract opportunity for a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to work for one of the world’s largest development and construction companies, where you will provide support to the External market team to enable compliance.

This role will be within the building services division where you will provide support to the MEP team.

Location: Slough

Main duties and responsibilities:

- Advise, guide and coach all personnel on the contract regarding the execution of the Health & Safety Management System.
- Advising the operational team on the effective management of subcontractors
- Carry out pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQ) and tender enquiries.
- Participate in the Building Services internal audit plan and support 3rd party certification exercises
- Carry out audits in accordance with the audit schedule.
- Produce audit reports in a timely manner and communicate with key stakeholders.
- Ensure line management are kept informed of any critical issues raised
- Ensure Investigation reports are produced to a high standard and can clearly identify immediate, underlying and root cause and learning outcomes.

Requirements/Ability:

- Previous experience in facilities management/ building services/ construction arena
- Hold a minimum of NEBOSH General Certificate - IOSH Membership - GradIOSH or CMIOSH
- Holds the NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, or is already working towards the NEBOSH Diploma
- Auditing qualification - desirable
