Are you a confident and organised individual with a passion for education? Do you enjoy working with students and ensuring their learning continues even in the absence of their regular teachers? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Cover Supervisor

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, following pre-set lesson plans and ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Manage student behaviour, enforcing school policies and promoting a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Facilitate student engagement and learning by delivering lessons and activities as directed by the absent teacher.
- Support students with their learning and provide assistance when needed, promoting independent thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and completed work.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to provide feedback on student progress and address any concerns.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during class time and on school premises.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a school setting or in a role involving student supervision.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills to effectively manage multiple classes and tasks.
- Confidence and ability to manage behaviour and maintain discipline in a classroom setting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and interact with students effectively.
- A genuine interest in education and supporting student learning.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, would be desirable but not essential.
