Job Title: Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team at GSL Education - Leicester. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the class teacher with planning, assessments, and marking, as well as delivering pre-planned lessons independently during the class teacher's absence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher with planning, assessments, and marking
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons independently during the class teacher's absence
  • Ensure the children are always in a safe learning environment
  • Provide 1:1 and small group booster sessions within and out of the classroom
  • Cover PPA periods
  • Be creative with wall and classroom displays
  • Deliver Behaviour, Numeracy, Literacy, and Social Interventions
Requirements:
  • A valid right to work document
  • An Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service
  • 2 proof of address (addressed to yourself within the last 3 months)
  • An Overseas Criminal Clearance if you have been out of the UK for more than 6 months over the past 5 years
  • Relevant Qualifications, Training, and/or Experience
  • A full Drivers License and access to a car (Desired but not necessary)
