**Job Purpose**
To lead and coordinate the management and administration of assigned Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Degrees (EMJMDs) hosted by the School of Law.
The post-holder will support the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Degrees (EMJMD) being delivered in the School of Law. Initially, this relates to the International Law of Global Security, Peace and Development Consortium (ILGSPD) - LLM. The consortium is led by the University of Glasgow and the full degree awarding partners are:

Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (IBEI) - delivering a joint degree on behalf of three Spanish universities: the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the University of Barcelona and Pompeu Fabra University
University of Tartu
Leuphana University of Luneburg
Radboud University
Université Libre de Bruxelles.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
1. Coordinate the planning of teaching delivery across the EMJMD, working in close partnership with School Postgraduate Course Administrators (based in the Glasgow Centre for International Law and Security (GCILS)) and relevant colleagues at Partner Institutions.
2. Coordinate and oversee the registration, enrolment and progression of students on the EMJMD, including the conversion of assessed marks from courses delivered by partner institutions, ensuring student records are accurately managed and maintained during periods in the UK, mobility periods outwith from the UK, including placement destinations.
4. Coordinate and administer events linked to the EMJMD, including programme inductions, socials, seminars, conferences and graduations.
6. Monitor and manage the use and expenditure of all European Commission funding granted in support of the EMJMD.
7. Support and oversee the administration of tuition fee setting and related income allocation for the EMJMD, including the disbursement of fee income to consortium partners.
8. Coordinate and clerk EMJMD consortium management committees and other similar consortium level forums, including progress and examination boards.
9. Manage and administer staff visits and exchanges supporting the delivery of the EMJMD including booking of consortium staff travel and accommodation requirements.
10. Liaise and manage relations with consortium associate partners (such as summer school partners) that are linked to the EMJMD.
11. Coordinate and support the marketing, promotion and dissemination of the EMJMD, including maintaining websites and social media accounts and liaising with University and partner institution colleagues engaged in student marketing and recruitment activities to develop and publish marketing materials.
12. Engage and liaise with alumni students from the EMJMD, working in partnership with the University's Alumni & Development Office.
13. Liaise with the European Commission and other relevant agencies as to the provision of official information and statistics related to the EMJMD and in meeting the University's official legal and compliance requirements.
15. Any other relevant and appropriate duties as directed by the Head of Professional Services or the GCILS Leadership Team.

**Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills and Experience**

**Knowledge/Qualifications**

**Essential**:

A1 HND, VQ 3/4, Higher or equivalent, preferably in the Social Sciences.
A2 Knowledge of University regulations, policies and procedures in relation to the management, delivery and quality assurance of learning and teaching, particularly at the postgraduate level.

**Desirable**:

B1 Undergraduate degree or higher in the Social Sciences.
B2 Knowledge of University of Glasgow business and student systems, including MyCampus (Student Records), Agresso (Finance), Moodle (VLE) and T4 (CMS).
B3 Knowledge of European Commission regulations, policies and procedures governing EMJMDs.
B4 Knowledge of the structure and configuration of EMJMDs or similar non-accredited International Masters programmes.
B5 Knowledge of the delivery - in relation to both teaching and administration - of joint and/or multiple degree programmes, particularly at the postgraduate level.

**Desirable**:

D1 Verbal and written proficiency in a second/multiple European language(s).
D2 Experience of living abroad and/or sensitive to cultural differences.

**Experience**

**Essential**:

E1 3 years' experience in a similar or relevant role (with qualifications or evidence of progression).
