Senior Planner

**Responsibilities**

As a Senior Planner, you'll be working within the Sofia project team, to fully manage, monitor, develop and drive all aspects of our SOFIA offshore converter station programme of works

Your day to day will include:

- You’ll ensure the programme is continually developed, communicated, reviewed, monitored, and efficiently delivered across all stages of the project planning life cycle, supporting the project management team through construction and into handover.
- You'll work closely with the operational team on site to plan the sequence of work, logistics, and resourcing of the project, as well as monitoring and providing the conscience of the project, against the baseline programme.
- The works involve multiple concrete foundation construction, with large steel frame buildings, complete with M&E fit out, as well as cross site infrastructure in the form of drainage, ducting and access roads. As expected with a senior planning role, regular identification of change and early warning matters are an absolute, which will require production, and subsequent communication of assessments with the commercial team to manage any change.

**What do we need from you?**

This role of Senior Planner is great for you if:

- You have demonstrable experience in contract planning for a main contractor, including change management
- You've proven delivery experience of large-scale infrastructure projects with a sound technical knowledge of the construction process
- You've experience of civil engineering carried out in a complex environment with consideration of multiple stakeholders
- You'll have a high level of competency within Primavera P6
- You'll have a proactive, enthusiastic, and collaborative approach with excellent communication skills, including strong leadership, management, and problem-solving skills and can take the lead with client interfaces
