Venue Hire Coordinator

Hiring out our venue spaces to a diverse range of individuals and organisations for conferences, workshops, concerts, parties and talks forms an important part of the work of St Ethelburga’s. This position has flexible hours, depending on bookings. A typical week would be 20 - 25 hours, more if there are events which need cover. The rate of pay for this position is £13-£15 per hour.
Managing our booking system, including using external venue hire platforms and management software e.g. Pipedrive, Skedda, Quickbooks. Arranging and being present for viewings Preparing invoices and payments for venue hire through external platforms.
Caretaking events: You will occasionally be required to caretake for events, welcoming guests, setup (AV / sound, furniture, and refreshments) and introducing the Centre and safety procedures to guests. You will be responsible for ensuring everything is cleared up and locking up the building at the end of the event. When caretaking for events you will be responsible for care of the building and all its furniture, fixtures and fittings.
Who will you work with?
You will be line managed by our Centre Manager.
You will be a valued member of our small team and are encouraged to attend team meetings and events and participate in the life of the Centre.
