- Job description 1- As a member of the leadership support team, you will be required to offer administrative support to specific members of the Area Leaderships team and offer support to Work force planning, (Who support in recruitment activities in the area). You will also be the point of contact for the managers you support, sharing information with different teams across the area and wider business.
This can be quite a diverse and busy role, as such you have to manage and priorities your time well, as your duties can vary between updating online systems, managing team inboxes, and organising multiple crowded diaries, arranging meetings, preparing agendas and taking action notes at meetings - virtually and face to face etc.

Everyone starting in a new role with the Environment Agency will be welcomed into the team and given all the training and support needed.
The team 1- As a member of leadership support, you will join a team of East Anglia based administrators who work closely together to offer guidance and support to each other, to ensure that their direct reports are being supported and managed efficiently.
Furthermore, you’ll be joining the Customers and Engagement team, which means you will be working alongside a team of experts in communication and engagement who work with colleagues across East Anglia.
- Experience/skills required 1- We are looking for someone who can build rapport quickly and has a proven record of successfully working well within a team and managing your own workload.
You will need to have exceptional time management and organisational skills and feel comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
Essential:

- IT literacy, including but not limited to, proficiency in IT Applications including MS Teams, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present information in a clear, comprehensible style and format.
- Excellent diary management and organisational skills.

It would be helpful, but not essential, if you had:

- Experience dealing with confidential and sensitive information and issues.
- Ability to take minutes at internal and external meetings.
- Full driving license, you may be required to travel to other offices within the area from time to time.

The salary is for a Grade 2 position and is £20,507 (pro-rated).
We currently work on a hybrid basis, between home and office, you would be expected to choose a base location and attend this office on a minimum of once a month. The East Anglian team is based at our Brampton (Huntingdon) and Ipswich (Suffolk) Offices.
