You will sit within Human Resources International (HRI) which is the team within Talent Sourcing that is responsible for supporting the Bank’s globally mobile employees in terms of immigration, tax, and benefit considerations as well as the actual relocation, from both the employee and employer perspectives. The HRI team comprises three pillars - one focusing on international assignments, the second focusing on tax compliance for business travellers, and the third pillar being immigration.

This role currently represents Deutsche Bank’s sole immigration specialist role and as such comprises three parts:

- Ensuring Deutsche Bank UK meets all its compliance obligations that stem from having an A rated Sponsor License
- Running Deutsche Bank’s Immigration policy applicable to international short term business travel
- Gradually creating a Bank-wide Immigration Compliance Policy and setting consistent minimum standards

**Your key responsibilities**
- Support Deutsche Bank UK’s Authorising Officer in the smooth running of Deutsche Bank’s UK immigration processes and governance procedures
- Dealing with complex case management and escalations as needed when non experts require assistance
- Managing immigration vendors in the function of service relationship owner, responsible for request for information (RFIs), request for proposals (RFPs), contract negotiations with immigration vendors, vendor performance reviews and vendor risk management
- Interpreting Business-relevant legislation and geo-political challenges, escalating these to the HR leadership, business stakeholders or the management board (for example Brexit immigration, COVID-19, Russia-Ukraine conflict and Frontier Working) and implementing local/global suitable solutions for the Bank
- Engaging with stakeholders - other HRI team members, Recruitment, HR Generalists, employees, business managers, Risk, Vendor management team, IT (for implementations)
- Providing various immigration trainings locally for the HR team members, business stakeholders and globally for the heads of HR

**Your skills and experience**
- Significant experience in global immigration program management, preferably in the financial services industry
- Proven knowledge of UK and possibly international immigration law (such as Big Four experience and/or immigration certification)
- Wider general knowledge of Global Mobility and related Reward product areas such as Compensation, (including deferred compensation and Benefits), preferred
- Understanding of dependencies between immigration and global mobility regulations and processes
- Experience of discussing complex and often controversial matters with senior company stakeholders
- Vendor Management experience, such as knowledge of governance structures, contractual and legal frameworks
