**Positions Available**:Therapeutic Counsellor (for children and young adults).**

**Teenage Mental Health in Ipswich are searching for the next members of our growing team. Due to exceptional demand we need to increase our team of Therapists, and we are looking to expand therapy options also.**

**Primarily, we are aiming to recruit individuals to provide one to one counselling to children and adolescents from 2 to 18 and up to 25 years of age face to face at our premises in Ipswich (IP4 1AQ) within our private organisation.** We also provide adult counselling, but currently we are comfortably meeting this demand with current staff.

**Teenage Mental Health are a private not-for-profit social enterprise. We strive to provide ethical, quality care in our services and also provide additional support within the local community as part of our commitment to mental health action. We hope and expect to expand our reach in time, and there will be many exciting opportunities ahead for the organisation, and those working within it.**

**Our main body of work is not timed work, we are an open ended provision working with patients on a case by case basis to provide what they need.**

**Teenage Mental Health Ltd.**
- **to have achieved a MSC/MA degree in child and adolescent/paediatric counselling**

**(as a minimum), and**
- Experienced working with child and adolescent age groups in employment (or placement if recently qualified).
- independently be in supervision with a therapeutic supervisor (we can assist in recommending known professionals)
- to be able to work as part of a team
- to attend monthly group supervisions, CPD training
- demonstrate professional standards and ethics in their work
- be a registered member of the BACP/UKCP or one alike
- Also have your own insurance in place (TMH does have an organisational one)

**Additional information**:

- We at Teenage Mental Health work between 9am and finishing at 7pm Monday to Friday.
- Therapists work in 5 hour shifts. From 09:30 - 14:30, and 14:30 to 18:30pm
- Rate of pay is £27-£32 Per Hour
- We work alongside BACP standard clinical practise as a BACP Organisational Member
- Minimum hour commitment sought after is 10 hours.

**All roles require a Masters Qualification in Counselling. Teenage Mental Health are a predominately a psychodynamic led organisation, but welcome CV’s from all therapeutic bases of learning and experience.**
