We have an exciting position available for a Leisure Team Member whose role is to form an integral part of the leisure team working within leisure facilities in Salford. To assist in delivering an efficient and high-quality service in relation to pool lifeguarding, health and fitness programmes, supervision of changing rooms and common areas and maintaining the very highest standards of cleanliness.

To be focused on customer care and health and safety at all times and be a driving force behind increased memberships and attendances.

This role will be based at **Irlam & Cadishead Leisure Centre**. The centre being one of the busiest facilities in the city, boasting over 200,000 attendances a year, a growing membership base within excess of 2,000 active members, as well as delivery of over seventy fitness classes a week.

**Note**:
**As part of the interview process, all applicants will be assessed on the following**:

- Jump/dive into deep water
- Swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds
- Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back
- In deep Water, tread water for 30 seconds
- Surface dive to the floor of the pool Climb out unaided without ladders/steps and where pool design permits

**Note**:
**Dates - Tuesday 2nd April 2024 - Sunday 7th April 2024**

**Time - 8:30am - 5:30pm**

**6 consecutive days**

The content of the course will be a mixture of skills and theoretical knowledge in both a classroom and pool side setting.
- **Requirement to obtain NPLQ within 6 months of appointment to the post**
