Empowering Learning are seeking an Unqualified Teaching Assistant to work with our partner primary schools in Leeds.

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join our educational team. As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to the lead teacher in delivering high-quality instruction and creating a positive learning environment for students. This is a paid position that offers valuable experience in the field of education.

**Duties**:

- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities
- Provide individualized attention and support to students during class
- Help maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
- Assist with classroom management, including behavior management and discipline
- Support students with special needs or learning challenges
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback
- Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources
- Supervise students during recess, lunch, and other non-instructional times
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred)
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic classroom environment
- Basic computer skills
