Interviews: from 9th May 2023 WHAT WE OFFER Full-time contract - 39 hours, working 5 days over.Starting salary £23,000 We operate 7 days a week to meet the shopping needs of our customers, this role will require availability to work across the store opening hours, including late night and every other weekend. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVEAt IKEA it’s all about our customers, and in Customer Relations we build and retain long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers in a multichannel retail environment. As a Checkout Services Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive and joyful experience for all IKEA visitors and customers: set up services, gather feedback and make things right You will also contribute to IKEA fulfilling continuous improvement and improved customer satisfaction through delivering daily operational standards and quality of service. Previous experience in leading a team in a retail environment is essential. The ideal candidate will be a natural problem solver who has a passion for developing long term relationships with our co-workers and customers, while adapting to changing priorities and setting clear expectations for the team. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAYNo two days are the same at IKEA, your role will be varied & you will support Checkouts/Aftersales & Fulfilment. - Ensuring co-workers are available and ready to help by putting customers before work tasks. Empowering co-workers through knowledge, confidence, trust, authority and motivation so they are always ready to support customers in the best way possible. Always being available to deal positively and quickly with issues raised by customers thereby supporting my co-workers when they cannot resolve a need. Following up on the department action plan and taking action to ensure we are continually focused on achieving the agreed goals. Ensure the right number of co-workers is in the right place at the right time to serve our customers and run the department successfully.
