Paper Plus was set up and is still run today by husband and wife, Lucy and Cliff Henry. The team have grown since then and we are now a friendly, long-serving team of 12. We supply everything and anything an education setting might need. Yes paper, of course, but a whole lot more than that. **Role Overview**
The Marketing Assistant will support and work alongside the Marketing Manager (MM) and the Marketing Communications Executive (MCE) to deliver a variety of marketing activity, across multiple online and offline channels, in-line with the business strategy.

This is a new role to support our ambitious goals for 2024 and beyond. It is an exciting opportunity for someone who wishes to develop their marketing skills and make a significant contribution to a friendly and growing, family-run business.

**Key Responsibilities**
- To assist the Marketing team with the termly communications plan; creating content for monthly newsletters, updating social platforms with engaging and on brand posts
- Creation of marketing collateral; including flyers to highlight key promotions using Adobe suite, copywriting and image sourcing
- Work with the MCE to implement a social media strategy to increase brand awareness; identifying the right channels and messages for the business
- Adding new products and updating existing lines on our ecomm website
- Supporting with any other ad-hoc marketing tasks where required
- Attending exhibitions and events
- Bringing new, innovative ideas to team meetings to help achieve the business strategy and ambition

**Key Skills**
- Experience in a B2B marketing role would be an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop is desirable
- Understanding of WordPress websites and some experience editing and updating products
- Experience using WooCommerce for ecomm sites
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
