**About The Role**

FTI's London-based International Campaigns and Issues Management practice advises multinational companies, organisations, governments and individuals on managing and mitigating complex strategic communications challenges, particularly those that have a geopolitical or regulatory affairs dimension. The team works on campaigns and issues that span a range of jurisdictions, devising and executing integrated programmes that leverage multiple communications disciplines.

We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant to join a growing team to deliver exciting international affairs and corporate reputation mandates and help to contribute towards the practice's growth.

**What You'll Do**

**Deliver to Clients**
- Provide energetic, enthusiastic contributions to a broad range of client accounts, with an emphasis on supporting international public affairs and media engagement programmes
- Actively participate in the development of multichannel communications strategies, by undertaking research, conducting analysis, drawing out insights and contributing to team discussions
- Support the execution of issues-focused communications campaigns through development of high quality content (such as op-eds, media and political briefings, stakeholder mapping and policy analysis) and engagement with key external stakeholders.
- Support the senior team on issues management mandates through delivery of analytics, monitoring and insight generation, contributing to strategy development and advice to clients
- Take ownership of projects and other client / team needs to drive forward day-to-day activity, ensure work is delivered promptly, to an exceptional standard

**Help Build the Business**
- Support new business opportunities and contribute to proposals and pitches
- Proactively network with media and industry contacts

**Team Support**
- Proactively share ideas and updates relevant to our clients and work with the team
- Support others' learning and development by sharing knowledge, insights and experience with colleagues
- Develop peer-level relationships with other teams within FTI

**What You Will Need to Succeed**
- Excellent, proven stakeholder and media relations capabilities
- A proven ability to support with the planning and execution of multi-channel issue campaigns, including on digital channels.
- A good understanding of the UK political environment and policymaking process
- A keen interest in global affairs and geopolitics
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to build strong rapport/relationships at all levels within FTI Consulting and client organisations
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise a varied workload
- Ability to work effectively within a busy team
- A pragmatic and 'can do' approach
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills

**Basic Qualifications (or equivalent (where applicable))**
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, with a minimum 2:1 (or equivalent)
