We are seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team in providing exceptional care to our animal patients and their owners.

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. Your friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and attention to detail will contribute to creating a positive experience for both clients and their pets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome clients and their pets to the veterinary clinic
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for veterinary services
- Collect and update client information in the database
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures for patients
- Handle financial transactions, including processing payments and issuing invoices
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Provide general information to clients about veterinary services and procedures
- Assist with laboratory tasks, such as preparing samples for testing

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus

In addition to your receptionist duties, you will also have the opportunity to assist with laboratory tasks, such as preparing samples for testing. This will provide you with valuable exposure to the veterinary field and allow you to expand your skill set.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £11.45 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Veterinary Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer Service: 3 years (preferred)
