This role is based at our Langley College campus; the centre for our main vocational and technical courses including Apprenticeships, Adult Education and HE. We deliver an innovative curriculum with superb specialist facilities including latest industry standard equipment, workshops, and studios.

**Learning Support Assistant - English**

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work with lecturers in the delivery of the curriculum.

You will establish a supportive relationship with learners, enabling effective delivery of responsibilities, including promoting and reinforcing students’ self-esteem. You will also assist the lecturer in the supervision of students to ensure standards of work and behaviour are maintained.

A natural communicator and proven motivator, you will thrive on student interaction and utilise your knowledge and experience to help each student achieve their full potential.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about student welfare and enthusiastic about supporting learners to grow and succeed. You will need to hold a minimum of level 2 in English and Mathematics (or equivalent). You will need to show that you have previous experience of working with students within an educational setting.
