The Mix includes 127 Trading Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary that was set up to generate additional income to The Mix; comprising Cabbages and Kings, The Duck and Teapot and Brix.

**Overview and purpose of role**

Empower is our primary school 1-to-1 mentoring programme to help children overcome difficulties ranging from anxiety, anger, low self-esteem and resilience.

Trained volunteer mentors give an hour a week for a full academic year to one child in year 5 or year 6, offering them the time and support they need to thrive in areas such as self-confidence and emotional regulation. Since May 2021, our team of volunteer mentors have given over 2000 hours of support to schools and school children in and around the Stowmarket and surrounding villages.

Reporting to the Empower Project Lead, the administrator will be responsible for supporting the mentoring programme which includes administration, posting Empower social media, data compilation, as well as working with a variety of different people, local mainstream schools and volunteers.

Our Empower Administrator will need to be a passionate people person, who is able to communicate with a range of adults and children, liaising with schools and supporting with the design and delivery of our mentoring programme.

As well as supporting the delivery of the mentoring programme, an important aspect of the role will be to research and connect with the wider community, developing partnerships, and supporting the growth of the Empower programme as we develop and expand.

The post is ideally suited to a confident, enthusiastic, and engaging person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have a passion for inclusion and empowering young people to realise their full potential.
