Reed Accountancy & Finance are working closely with a client within the charitable sector who have an opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a part time basis, ideally 30 hours per week.

**This is a permanent opportunity offering hybrid working, 60% office based and 40% working from home.**

This job offers variety assisting with all aspects of finance administration, payroll, administration and HR.

**The job duties will involve**:
**Finance**

Ensure all invoices and 3rd party payments are processed and administered within agreed timescales
Service organisational banking requirements e.g. creation and authorisation of payments through on-line banking, reconciliation of credit card, printing of bank statements, etc.
Liaise with departmental managers and the organisation’s Financial Services Provider to ensure timely delivery of required financial information with the appropriate level of detail and accuracy
Collate organisational data and agreements with internal and external stakeholders to enable finance agreements to be fulfilled
Assist in the day-to-day administration tasks for the purposes of accounts and finance

**HR & Payroll**

Support the end-to-end HR & Payroll cycle for all employees
Support the HR function with administration tasks and use the HR & Payroll system to ensure all employee details are accurate and up to date for leavers, sickness absence, holidays
Provide accurate and timely service provision by resolving HR transactions and administration

**Administration**

Data entry, retrieval and database/CRM maintenance
File and archive pertinent information within GDPR legislative requirements
Create and manage documents, spreadsheets and presentations
Compile reports in line with calendar requirements ensuring accuracy of information at all times
Liaise with external providers to answer queries and resolve issues

**Essential Criteria**

A Level or equivalent qualification/experience
Proven verbal and written communication skills and the ability to prepare reports and budgets
Excellent filing and sorting skills and the ability to manage business correspondence
Excellent bookkeeping skills and proficiency with relevant computer software
Rapid data entry, attention to details and good editing skills
Excellent people and customer service skills
Good research skills, data analysis and the ability to translate complex data into a simple
format
Experience of working within an administrative role with a keen interest and desire to work
across finance and HR
Experience of using Microsoft packages
