Reporting to the Experiences and Programming Manager, you'll work with the Visitor Experience team to support the day-to-day operations of the visitor experience and offer.

The team welcomes over 280,000 visitors a year to this Treasure House and its rolling Suffolk landscape. We benefit from working flexibly across departments, delivering an outstanding visitor welcome and audience focused visitor programme throughout the year.

What you'll be doing:As the Visitor Experience Officer, you’ll be an ambassador for the Trust sharing our values and working as a team to link everything we do back to our cause. You'll help deliver the day-to-day operations of the visitor experience, enabling a broad range of visitors to have an exceptional visit.

Part of the Visitor Experience team, you'll help us offer a diverse and engaging annual programme of activities, including our winter Light Nights, Easter egg hunts and other seasonal family activities. As well as supporting our social media content, other pieces of creative interpretation. We're also looking for someone creative, with good attention to detail and great customer service.

Part of your role will be leading the Visitor Welcome team on one in four weekends, and regular bank holiday working and some out of hours event working.

Who we're looking forTo deliver this role successfully, you'll need:

- To think creatively about family activities for visitors to enjoy seasonally
- A passion for delivering high standards of presentation and an eye for design with experience of Adobe InDesign or Illustrator
- Experience in social media, gathering and creating content for both internal and external marketing
- Good people skills, enabling strong relationships, both externally and internally
- Experience of working to deadlines and managing own workload
- An understanding of the role of the Trust, as a national conservation charity and how programming supports visits and grows audiences
