Description
We are looking for someone enthusiastic and motivated to join our SLM Toyota team as a Selling Used Car Sales Controller. The role involves supporting the Sales Manager in controlling the Used car operation and supporting the team of Customer Consultants in a fast-paced environment, hitting your own targets and monitoring the team’s targets. Our team of Customer Consultants guide customers throughout their entire journey with us, through the vehicle sales and aftersales processes.

**Requirements**:
**Key Job Areas of the Sales Controller role**:

- Motivate and support the team to achieve key targets
- Support the management of used car stock control and pricing
- Achieve individual unit and profit targets
- Build rapport and create a bespoke customer experience
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on products and services provided
- Follow sales processes to ensure compliance
- Maintain high customer focus levels
- Monitor staff training needs
- Work as a full member of the dealership team supporting both Sales and Aftersales activities.

**What we’re looking for in a Sales Controller**:

- Previous experience in motor trade sales
- Previous experience of working to, and successfully achieving targets
- Be extremely organised and have a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work as part of, and support a team
- Excellent communication and administrative skills
- Excellent customer service/people skills delivering services to high standards
- Must have flexible, hands on ‘can do’ approach
- Knowledge of sales principles and methods
- A good knowledge of Used Car stock and preparation disciplines
- Open minded and inquisitive to future growth and development opportunities.
