Financial Controller

Financial Controller required for our client in the Petersfield area to join their team. The successful Financial Controller will be responsible for financial reporting, overseeing all financial control activities, tax preparation and examining all financialreports and data.

The Financial Controller will have experience working in a similar role previously and will have an Accounting Qualification or a degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field.

**Financial ControllerPosition Overview**
- Financial reporting, i.e. monthly, quarterly and annual accounts
- Financial forecasting, budgeting and cashflow
- Providing management with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective policymaking and financial strategy
- Closely monitoring actuals vs budget on each project
- Advising management on implementation of development projects
- Review of processes to establish effective financial controls
- Oversee all financial control activities
- Tax preparation
- Ensuring proper compliance with all regulations
- Regularly look for cost reduction opportunities
- Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
- General adhoc duties

**Financial ControllerPosition Requirements**

Bachelor's degree or master's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or an Accounting Qualification

Several years of experience in a business or finance environment

Management experience

Outstanding mathematical skills

Solid written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail

Organisational skills

Understanding of data privacy standards

A preference for experience in and around discretionary trusts

**Financial ControllerPosition Remuneration**

Salary £50,000 - £65,000

Annual leave 25 days + bank holidays

Days Monday - Friday
