**The Role & Responsibilities**

To provide support in the ongoing implementation of the Q2 Complex Loan Platform and for the BAU Financial Control function for the new platform.
- Support the Senior Financial Accountant in maintaining the financial records on the new platform
- Reconcile bank accounts relating to the new platform on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as required
- Reconcile control accounts relating to the new platform on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as required
- Participate in the month end reporting process reconciling outputs to back-office systems
- Monitor other controls on the systems as required
- Be actively involved in the testing of new product implementation on the new platform
- Be actively involved in the migration of loans from legacy systems to the new platform including the reconciliation of accounts transferred
- Support the Financial Control team with any other relevant work as required

**The Person**
- Able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a financial accounting environment, with extensive reconciliation’s experience
- Able to demonstrate previous experience of system/data migration within a finance function
- Advanced knowledge of Excel including v-look ups, pivot tables etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to establish effective working relationships at all levels
- Comfortable with a hybrid working environment, with a minimum of 1 day per week in the Glasgow office
