Working for a forward thinking and growing company you will be required to ensure the customer receives their order in full and on time.
This role oversees orders through the shipment, acting as a "pull" for the whole system, working closely with sales, production, customers and carriers.
You will also have the opportunity to be involved in continue improvement of the process.
Your main duties will be to:
- follow orders through to shipment - act as the Pull for the whole system ensuring orders are dispatched on time.
- prepare order ready to ship, optimised as per the final destination / customer
- work with internal sales, production and supply chain to ensure orders are handled effectively
- work extensively with the ERP system
- create and update standard work procedures to ensure robust processes are in place
- perform logistics - booking carriers, submitting invoices to customs, physically generating packing slips
- complete administration tasks to support the process.
You will need to posses:
- previous relevant experience
- good knowledge of order processing systems
- the ability to work on orders at various stages of the cycle at the same time
Your hours will be 08:00 - 16:45 Monday to Thursday with a 2pm finish on a Friday.
