Control Panel Wireman

Main function of role:

- Workshop based control panel builder in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.

To be considered for this role;
The following is required:

- Previous experience as a control panel wireman.
- Reading and wiring from electrical schematics/drawings.
- Connecting all electrical components to the control panel ensuring all cables are neat and tidy.
- Drilling and cutting cabinets to suit.
- Managing stock levels in the workshop to ensure continuity of work.
- Must be able to wire components to client specification using schematics.
- Must be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of health and safety.
- Maintain product continuity and quality
- Lay out electrical components to design wiring diagrams
- Maintaining of technical records
- Installation and testing of electrical panels and cable assemblies
- Liaising with management in order to maintain high standards of quality and procedures
- To work responsibly and in compliance with the company policies, procedures and terms of employment
- Follow and complete Production Paperwork
- Ad hoc duties as required
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision

The following is desirable:

- A valid CSCS/ECS card
- Electrical Apprenticeship
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Certificate
- NVQ or City Guilds Qualification (Essential)

Hours of work are 08:00 - 4:30 Monday to Friday. Overtime and weekend work are occasionally required/available.

Hourly rate dependant on experience.

Immediate start available.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
