**PURCHASE LEDGER ADMINISTRATOR**

**STUART GROUP LIMITED - SHROPHAM, ATTLEBOROUGH, NR17 1DT**

Stuart Group Ltd specialises in the power generation market. We are an authorised dealer for FG Wilson branded products manufactured by Caterpillar powered by Perkins engines and have been for over 30 years. We supply spares worldwide and are the largest spares dealer worldwide.

This role encompasses managing the purchase ledger for the four group companies, Stuart Group Ltd, Stuart Plant Ltd, Stuart Wells Ltd and Shropham Holdings Ltd.

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Management of accounts payable inbox ensuring correct action is taken.
- Reviewing supplier invoices to ensure that they are accurate and correctly formatted.
- Posting and PO matching of all supplier invoices into Sage 200 in a faced paced environment.
- Liaising with Suppliers, Stores and Operational colleagues for invoice queries through to resolution.
- Accounts payable administrative duties to include setting up of new suppliers.
- Supplier statements reconciliations to include GRNI (Goods received not invoiced)
- Additional ad hoc duties relating to the accounts payable function.
- Produce and submit payments for approval within relevant payment terms.
- Month end tasks.
- Ensure unallocated payments are kept to a minimum and are reconciled monthly.

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE**
- Purchase ledger experience
- Good overall knowledge of the general workings of an accounts department in order to assist in ad-hoc tasks including sales ledger or processing of expense claims
- Excellent organisational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy of work
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written with both internal and external employees/suppliers.
- Ability to prioritise work and work to deadlines
- Excellent computer skills

**DESIRABLE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE -**
- Knowledge of Sage 200
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel and Word

**WORKING HOURS**:

- Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
- Full time, Permanent
