Associate Director, Site Operational Excellence

As the Associate Director, Site Operational Excellence you will be responsible for supporting the Operation Excellence deployment & continuous improvement at the Stevenage site, to provide technical support and coaching in OPEX processes, and to develop a continuous improvement OPEX culture for the business.

Some of the duties include:

- Coordinate, lead and execute multiple improvement projects and initiatives in order to achieve business needs and site objectives. This will include mitigating potential conflicts between projects running simultaneously.
- Where appropriate collaborate with the Technical Project Management team on wider projects as well as ensuring consistency & best practice of project management is followed.
- Business partner with appropriate functions across site (up to Site Leadership Team Level) to understand their needs; to identify and improve those areas most critical for improvement as well as provide wider OPEX technical support.
- Support the Director, Site Operational Excellence Lead in establishing OPEX strategies, priorities, project goals and assess results.
- In collaboration with the Director, Site Operational Excellence Lead, drive an OPEX culture throughout the organization by facilitating OPEX events / training and ensuring that accountability for OPEX held at all levels in the site.
- Track and evaluate product performance, trending, detect issues.
- Identify and eliminate process waste by continually driving a cultural shift in the site with sustainable results.
- Report on progress of improvement projects & product performance including key process metrics & business management metrics to the Director, Site Operational Excellence Lead & if required wider stakeholder audiences and/or manufacturing robustness forums.
- Ensure data and trending are transparent and communicated at shop floor level.
