Management Accounts Assistant

**Purpose of the Role**
To provide support to all aspects of manufacturing by accurately maintain the product cost/ bill of materials database and ensuring the stock movements and balances reflect this database in line with supply chain requirements.
**Main Responsibilities**
- To maintain the factory bill of materials systems, labour and distribution.
- To ensure product costings accurately reflect the above information.
- To accurately cost new / alternative products.
- To ensure that movements throughout the supply chain are accurate - particularly in relation to materials received.
- To ensure the accuracy and integrity of purchasing and invoice clearance transactions through the Site’s accounting systems.
- Cover other finance team functions when necessary.
- _Ad hoc_ duties as required.
**Preferred Skills/Knowledge**
- Computer literate using MS Office and ERP systems.
- Intermediate Excel skills an advantage.
- Ability to work accurately within tight timescales/ under pressure.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work on own initiative.
- Personal flexibility to meet the needs of the business.
**Previous Experience Required**
- Desirable but not essential to have previously worked in a FMCG environment.
- Experience of Microsoft Office & ERP systems.
- AAT part qualified or willing to study.
