**We are recruiting Assistant Cooks at Caerphilly County Borough Council.**

**Contract Type**:Permanent, Part Time, Term Time Only
**Location**: Various locations across the borough

Caerphilly County Borough Council currently has 3 Assistant Cook vacancies at the following schools.

**Cwrt Rawlin Primary School, Caerphilly**

The post is permanent, part time 4 hours each day, that’s 20 hours a week term time only working (38 weeks per year).

**Hendre Infants School, Caerphilly**

The post is permanent, part time 1.5 hours each day, that’s 7.5 hours a week term time only working (38 weeks per year).

**St Helens RC School, Caerphilly**

The post is permanent, part time 3.5 hours each day, that’s 17.5 hours a week term time only working (38 weeks per year).

Also to supervise others in the workplace, working within the guidelines set out by Caerphilly Catering Services to ensure correct performance standards are achieved.

For the role, we ask that you have:

- Level 2 Food Safety, or ability to complete the qualification/s within 3 months of appointment.
- The ability to communicate effectively.
- The ability to work as part of a team.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour
