Production Planner

**Production Planner**

Our client is looking for an experienced Production Planner with exceptional attention to detail, advanced Excel skills and preferably experience in SAP (or other ERP system). As part of a 'hands on' team and based locally in Malvern, you will be able to demonstrate excellent time management, organizational and problem solving skills in order to ensure the production operations run smoothly.

**Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to)**:

- Developing existing forecast and supply information to improve production efficiencies and meeting customer needs
- Reviewing and updating planned and forecasted production schedules and material requirements
- Developing and maintaining forecast, master schedule and procurement plans based on history, seasonality, and sales opportunities.
- Reviewing material shortages, stock outages, and safety stock levels while working with Purchasing and Manufacturing to meet customer requirements.
- Monitoring inventory levels
- Promoting and developing positive communication with Production facility, Customer Service and Sales teams.
- Supporting new product development through cooperative scheduling of model introductions.

**Skills and experience required**:

- Confident at planning and forecasting multiple products
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Microsoft Excel Super User
- Expert knowledge of SAP or other recent ERP systems
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- An ability to liaise with all people and departments
- An excellent problem solver who thrives on handling internal pressures

Based in Malvern, our client is offering a basic salary of £35k - £45k (depending on experience) plus excellent benefits
