**About the Repairs Planner Manager role**:
Reporting to the Head of Operations you will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of resources to deliver repairs and maintenance for our customers.
**Responsibilities as our Repairs Planner Manager: **
- ensure the delivery of a flagship service that is great, consistent, and modern- manage a high-performing planning function for customers and team members and effectively use resources to maximise productivity and deliver a right-first-time service whilst bringing to life our vision and values- be responsible for ensuring all systems are adequately maintained allowing for weekly closure of job orders
- maintain and update records and computer-based databases as required, to ensure accurate reports are produced- work with the Head of Operations in establishing set objectives ensuring that targets are met and to develop service plans, procedures, and all recognised business control documents- establish and maintain effective, timely and on-going communications with trade operatives to monitor the progress of work and take appropriate action regarding appointment schedules to satisfy customer requirements- manage necessary variations to schedules and appointments which arise due to unforeseen circumstances- continuously monitor and review performance delivery and make real-time adjustments to work diaries to maximize the use of available resources.
**What we're looking for in our Repairs Planner Manager**:

- knowledge/experience of using dynamic scheduling system is preferred but training can be provided for the right person- experience with working with engineers diaries/scheduling day to day or reactive repairs experience within the construction industry- demonstrable experience of managing multi-disciplinary project team- strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy and reactive workload
- a positive and flexible attitude- the ability to demonstrate reliability, initiative, and the ability to work as part of a team and on your own.
- proficient IT knowledge and understanding- a Management degree or a high-level management qualification
- a Project Management Qualification such as Prince 2- A-levels in English and mathematics.
