**RECYCLING OPERATIVE**
**Full time / Permanent / Ref: RO/PD/05/24**
**Location**: 91 Moy Road, Portadown
**Shifts**: Day shift (40hrs/week)
Monday to Friday (inc. Saturdays, when required)
**Shift patterns will be discussed at interview**
Due to our continual growth, we are looking to appoint a **Recycling Operative** for the _rotational day shift _in our Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), at our RiverRidge site in **Portadown.**
**_ Roles & Responsibilities _**
Main Duties and Responsibilities to include:
- Responsibility for picking and segregating both recyclable and non-recyclable materials within a busy MRF.
- Ensure quality and recovery rates are maximised
- Ensure compliance with statutory and company obligations, & Health & Safety.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Ensure daily housekeeping rules are adhered to at all times.
- Adhere to the principles of Manual Handling at all times.
- Using software to support more efficient methods of quality control /analysis of our waste streams/waste process
- Any other duties as deemed reasonable by Supervisors /Management
**_Essential Criteria_**
- Good organisational skills
- Good communication skills - both written and verbal
- Ability to work well on own initiative
- Be self-motivated
- Ability to work well with others
- Flexible approach to work hours
**_Desirable Criteria _**
- Previous experience within a Waste Industry
- Manual Handling Training Certificate
- Banksman Training Certificate and experience of performing Banksman
**_What We Offer_**
- Competitive Hourly Rate - Age 21 and above **£11.44/ **Under 21 **£10.90 (15% hourly premium for hours worked between 11pm & 6am)**:
