We offer a range of services including facility support, building services, utility data capture, engineering & industrial services and specialist process equipment refurbishment.

We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our experienced and dedicated finance team. The team manage the day-to-day finances of the group and provide accurate and timely information to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Based at our Campsie office, you will be responsible for:

- Utilisation of payroll systems (currently Sage 50 Payroll and BrightPay) to ensure that all aspects of Precision Group payrolls (currently comprising circa 210 staff) are processed correctly and on time i.e., assume responsibility for the full “360-degree payroll cycle”;
- Liaise with operational management in order to ensure that all information required for payroll processing (including but not limited to provision of timesheets and information pertaining to starters, leavers, rate of pay changes, internal transfers and other pertinent information) is provided accurately and within agreed timescales;
- Utilising the information described above to process Precision Group payrolls (currently four separate legal entities with weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls in both UK and ROI jurisdictions) correctly and in time so that staff are paid correctly and on time;
- Complete all other aspects of payroll processing (including but not limited to issuing payslips, completion of statutory returns and pension processing) accurately and within required timescales;
- Provision of recurring and ad hoc payroll information and reports to internal management as and when required.
- As and when required, utilise the job costing system (currently Sage Job Costing), enter employee timesheet information in order to ensure that all employee related costs are correctly allocated to each job;
- Ensure that all employee costs are accurately allocated to the correct nominal ledger code, cost centre and department;
- Reconcile (and post adjustments where necessary) the balance of payroll costs as per the nominal ledger (currently Sage 200) to the job costing system.
- Utilise the personnel system (PAMS) to maintain accurate personnel records. In addition, ensure that fair employment monitoring information is accurately recorded on the system and utilise this information to ensure that fair employment returns (annual submission, Article 50 return, etc) are submitted accurately, correctly and on time;
- Assist with the onboarding of new employees; ensure documentation (New Start Information, Statements of Main Terms and Conditions, etc) is issued to employees within agreed timescales. In addition, ensure that employees return the aforementioned documentation and that same is correctly filed.
- Undertake any other tasks, duties or ad-hoc projects which the company consider reasonable and within the competence of the role.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- 5 GCSE’s at grades A - C (including Maths and English) or equivalent;
**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**
- Experience of processing large and complex payrolls using computerised payroll systems;
- Experience of delivering accurate outputs within tight timescales and to strict deadlines;
- Experience of working in a fast-paced commercial accounts department;
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel;
- Ability to deliver accurate outputs within tight timescales and to strict deadlines;
- Ability to establish strong relationships with internal operational management in order to ensure that payroll information is provided accurately and on time;
- Willingness to be flexible with time during busy periods;
- Ability to work on own initiative and as a key member of a team;
- Ability to review systems, processes and procedures within own sphere of operation and identify and recommend areas where improvements to internal control, efficiency, etc can be implemented;
- Professional and friendly outlook and approach;
- Possess a clean Driving Licence.

**DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE**
- Experience of Sage accounting and payroll systems (specifically, Sage 50 Payroll, Sage 200 Accounting and Sage Job Costing);
- Knowledge of payroll taxation legislation in the UK and the Republic of Ireland;
- Experience of working within the industrial services sector;
